James Kilgore, also known as the Father of Drama at Forest Hills UMC, turned 90 March 19, 2009. The James Kilgore Players, under the direction of Steve Masie, organized a celebration of this great man's achievements during fellowship hour on March 22, 2009. A light-hearted blend of humor and seriousness, this DVD captures the event and includes a chorus line with lyrics written by our own Steve Shearer, and a skit, James Kilgore Rewind, written and directed by Steve Masie. As a lasting testament to Mr. Kilgore, the stage in Fellowship Hall was named The James Kilgore Stage.
