Farmers Market is finished for 2011. We'll be back June 2012. Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm Forest Hills United Methodist Church Twelve local farmers participate in the weekly community event providing a diverse selection of fruits, vegetables, herbs and meats. In addition, the market has local food vendors, who provide artisan breads, freshly baked muffins, delicious desserts, canned goods, along with fresh pastas and sauces each Saturday throughout the season. NEW THIS YEAR! The market is the freshest place to come for a delicious Saturday breakfast. Savor the Flavor Chefs prepares yummy omelets with local ingredients straight from the market. On alternate weeks, the local chefs hosts a French toast station incorporating the freshest eggs, breads and fruits from the market into their creations. Iced or hot coffees and herbal lemonades are freshly prepared as well. Currently, the local farms who are participating are Delvin Farms, College Grove; Real Food Farms, Franklin; Howell Farms, Nashville; Sun Fresh Farms, Lebanon; Mamushi Nature Farm, Franklin; Kelley’s Berry Farm, Castalian Springs; Buffalo Valley Farm, Nashville; Riversong Farm, Nunnelly; Hickerson Farms, Chapsmanboro; Red River Farm, Clarksville; Peaceful Pastures, Hickman; and Womack Farms, Pembroke. Other vendors include: Locally baked goods prepared by Anne’s Cakes, Nashville and Papa C’s Pies, Brentwood; Gourmet Dog Treats by Daisy’s Delicacies, Brentwood; Canned goods by Petti Branch Farm, Prospect; Coffees roasted locally and served by Roast, Inc.; Locally made pizzas prepared and served by Geadello’s, Nashville; Artisan breads by Milo Farm Natural Bakery, Centerville; Creole seafood pies by Doc Braden's, Nashville; and Fresh pasta and sauces by Alfresco Pasta, Nashville; Gourmet Herbal Lemonades, Teas and Gazpacho by Primm Springs Foods.
